A marvellous new harvest sencha from Shizuoka, made from the rare cultivar Yamano Ibuki 山の息吹, meaning “breath of the mountains”. The cultivar originates from the mountainous areas of Shizuoka prefecture, and is rare for the time and effort it takes to cultivate. It is an “arazukuri’ sencha, meaning it includes both leaves and stems.
Crafted by an experienced tea master, this extremely unique tea exudes a fragrance of gentle meadow breeze in the summer. The fluorescent infusions is rich in sweetness and umami.
