White Peony in Green Mandarin
$22
白牡丹青柑
The green mandarin peels are from Tianma Village of Xinhui, Guangdong, the most distinguished region for the best orange peels. The tea inside is a 2013 White Peony from Taimu Mountain in Fuding, Fujian. The White Peony is steamed at low temperatures and placed inside each whole green mandarin peel. They are then placed outdoors on bamboo mats to be dried naturally for 3-5 days, and then slow roasted over charcoal.
This tea is refreshing, sweet, nicely balanced notes of the orange peel with the delicate taste of the white peony.
