Rare “Phoebe Zhennan” or Nanmu wood 金丝楠木. This rare wood was loved by the Emperor and Imperial Family, and predominantly used in the architecture of the Imperial Palace and in furniture for the Imperial Family.

These beautiful unlaquered tea scoops are mesmerizing to look at – the more you stare into the wood grain, the more you see of it. They are naturally shiny without lacquer and you can still smell the light scent of the wood on them.
