Pu'erh

Cultivate’s most beloved type of tea: pu’erh is sun dried and naturally fermented tea crafted from an ancient, big-leaf varietal native to the Yunnan province of China.  With prominent trunk structures, deep roots and broad leaves, pu’erh tea trees grow to be very old. 

We source pu’erh made from old grove trees that offer depth and complexity in both their taste and energetics. These teas carry the distinct imprint of the stunning environments and terroirs from which they come. 

Pu’erh Raw is fresh, energy circulating and uplifting. It ferments slowly and naturally over time, always changing as it ages.

Pu’erh Ripe ferments more quickly through a process accelerated by humidity and heat. It is deeper, earthier, less stimulating and more cleansing.
