Chawan by Danny Kostyshin, fired in soda fired kiln. Made in Vancouver, BC.
The clay body is a special soda clay body made by Danny. The outside is mostly matte colored and two-toned - orange shino glaze on one side, and a slightly textured grey color on the other side. The inside is shiny shino glaze with a few speckles.
It is a medium-size chawan and has a nice weight in the hands.
