"Matcha Velvet 7" is a new, exclusive line of single origin, single cultivar shincha (new harvest) matcha from Yame, Fukuoka. This series is a rare opportunity to taste matcha from the famous Yame region in its most pristine state: freshly harvested, direct from the grower, and unblended.

These matcha are also unique as they are delicious both as a latte or usucha (with only water), so we invite you to experience them both ways.

For anyone who likes their matcha sweet, you will be so pleased to encounter Oku Yutaka. This matcha bewilders us because, prepared as a latte, you'd think it had secretly generated its own sugar. It has a thick, satisfying mouthfeel and leaves the taste of marshmallow on your tongue.
