"Matcha Velvet 7" is a new, exclusive line of single origin, single cultivar shincha (new harvest) matcha from Yame, Fukuoka. This series is a rare opportunity to taste matcha from the famous Yame region in its most pristine state: freshly harvested, direct from the grower, and unblended.

Ooiwase is the richest and most complex matcha we have released in the Velvet 7 series thus far. It has both an intense pigment and an intense character. With rich, nutty notes and a weighty warmth it is very pleasing, both as a latte and usucha style – so we will encourage you to try it both ways!
