This Gyokuro is a masterpiece. From the famed Okabe region of Shizuoka where Gyokuro has been produced for many generations. Only the finest and most tender leaves are harvested and used for this tea.
The tea plants are carefully covered under rice mats for over 20 days. This glossy, jade-colored Gyokuro is highly aromatic, rich and enveloping with a brilliant sweetness that lingers on the palate. Exceptional quality.
