Coffee & Cardamom
Origin
Cocoa beans: Mbingu, Tanzania
Warming spices and complex coffee, with fruity Tanzania chocolate. The coffee is a single-origin Brazilian in the Cerrado region. It has classic nutty notes with an orange juiciness on the finish. The cardamom comes from a single-estate regenerative farm in the high-altitude Guatemalan cloud forests. It's sweet and tart, and provides a blanketing warmth.

We are now carrying bean-to-bar chocolates from Chachalate based in Toronto. We met Ry over a tea tasting at our shop in the summer, where he mentioned about his small chocolate business.
Pure chocolates are one of the few treats that pairs well with tea, the rich flavours of pure chocolates don’t fight with tea, instead, it compliments it. We have always enjoyed tasting chocolates with our teas.
Ry’s philosophy about his chocolate business deeply resonates with ours. He sources cocoa beans directly from farmers as much as possible, he roasts the cocoa beans delicately to highlight the unique flavors of the beans, and his chocolates are made with the simplest ingredients.
