Cultivate On Tour: Toronto

This November we're taking our collection and our traveling tea bar to the East Coast for a special series of events!

The first event, on Saturday November 23rd, is a private tea tasting for groups of up to 4 people.

This event is our way of bringing the Cultivate experience to Toronto.  We will have our traveling tea bar with us from Vancouver, along with a selection of teas from recent sourcing trips to China and Japan. Expect to see several fresh, seasonal teas that have just arrived, and that we very much look forward to sharing with Toronto friends.

We've designed 4 menus for guests to choose from when they book in for a time at our tea bar.

Next on our program is a Pop Up Market, just in time for the holiday season.

For this fun event we’ll be brewing some of our newly arrived seasonal teas and preparing our signature matcha and hojicha lattes.

Also, rumour has it that our long-time collaborator and wagashi artist, Saki Fukuda, will be in Toronto and may come by to prepare fresh, seasonal wagashi for us to serve with our matcha!

Mariko will be sampling a curated selection from her beautiful sake portfolio, and Sean of Regular Coffee will be pouring coffee for everyone. This will be a fun come-and-go event, and a chance for us all to come together around the things we love to taste.

Cultivate’s teas, Mariko’s sake, and Sean’s coffee will all be packaged and available for purchase.

And, lastly, for our dear friends in the industry ...

On Monday, November 25th we’ll be hosting a Trade Day at Mariko and Sean’s sake bar on Bloor Street for those who are interested in Cultivate's Wholesale Program.

We’ll be preparing a selection of matcha, hojicha, and loose leaf teas that we offer wholesale, as well as some exciting new additions to Cultivate’s collection from our most recent sourcing trips through China and Japan.

This trip to Toronto has been a long time coming, and we look forward to connecting with as many friends, industry folks, and tea lovers as we can before we move on to our next stop on tour: Montreal!
