These are teas that we are very fortunate to acquire, even in small quantities.

These teas are extremely terroir specific: they will be indigenous varietals that come from a single cliff or village, often in a protected area that is famous for producing this kind of tea.

Usually these teas will be wild foraged, or come from very old groves of tea trees. They are handled with great respect by skilled craftsmen who have inherited traditional methods specific to these varieties and historic regions.
