Our Tasting Room

Our tasting room is a calm and serene space, built with a great deal of consideration. The douglas fir is stained with pu'erh tea, light passes through shoji screens, water slowly filters through black charcoal, and incense smoke coils into negative space. We invite you to come in for a retreat from the city.

Tea Tastings

All of our tastings take place at our custom-built walnut tea bar — designed for the traditional preparation and service of tea.

Here, we showcase the meaningful traditions around the act of preparing, pouring, and tasting various teas.

In this intimate and focused setting we host one group at a time. Your session, hosted by one of our team members, is designed to be both a sensory and an educational experience.

We offer three kinds of guided tastings:

MATCHA
Explore how terroir, climate, and cultivar make each matcha unique. Includes a matcha latte demonstration.
45–60 minutes · 1–6 guests · $40–$55 per person

SEASONAL
Curated menus around a theme or terroir, featuring new harvests, fresh arrivals, and rare teas tasted side by side.
45–60 minutes · 2–6 guests · $45–$55 per person

THE CULTIVATE TASTING
Our signature tasting — a personalized session where we help you select teas from our collection. Gongfucha method, four infusions.

Do you accept walk-ins for retail purchases?

Yes, we welcome walk-ins during our regular opening hours: Mon, Wed–Sat 12–6 pm, Sun 12–5 pm.

Do you accept walk-ins for tea tasting?

We highly recommend making a reservation for your tea tastings, in order to secure your preferred time slot. All of our tea tastings are at our small and intimate tea bar, and we are only able to host one group at a time.  We will take walk-ins if there are spaces open.

Do you offer tea to-go?

Our teas are best experienced in-store or in the comfort of your own home.

Do you have offer wifi for customers?
