A deep dive on one of our favourite producers, whose teas always bring great clarity. This tasting features fresh harvests of rare, small batch pu’erh raw from old grove, ancient and wild trees. Expect strong and rooted energetics.

This tasting features newly arrived green teas from 3 different remote producing regions in China. An excellent comparative tasting that showcases less common green teas, in which pristine terroir and masterful craftsmanship come together to very unique ends.

FAQS

1) I am only able to make 1 booking per time slot. How can my friend book a tasting at the same time?

You only need to book one tasting for your entire group, and specify in the Notes section how many people will be joining. We only host one group at a time at our tea bar.

2) How many guests can you accommodate for each tasting?

We can accommodate between 1 and 6 people at our tea bar.

3) Can I add a person on the day?

Yes, up to a maximum of six people. It's best to note your party size in the “Notes” when you book, but you can add people on the day of.

4) Does the group taste the same teas during their tasting?

Yes, you will all be guided through the same tasting experience.

5) Can I make modifications to the menu?

No, these menus are designed very intentionally to give you the best experience we can. If you would like a customized tasting, please book The Cultivate Tasting.

6) Can I change which tasting I booked?

Yes. Your booking reserves the time slot for your group, and you can change the tasting when you arrive. If you think you might change it, come in a little early - at least ten minutes - since the tasting runs about 45-50 minutes.

7) Can I pay for a tasting online?

Payment is taken in person rather than at booking. If you’d like to pay online, purchase a Tea Tasting gift card on our gift card page: you’ll receive a code to pay with, then book online and bring the code when you come in.

8) How many teas will we get to try?

Our Seasonal Tastings are usually designed with 3 teas per tasting. For groups of 4 or more, we will expand the tasting to include 4 teas.

9) Are there teas best enjoyed during different seasons?

Yes, we think a great deal about what teas are most supportive and best suited for different times of the year. Seasonal tastings feature teas that are aligned with the season in British Columbia, and demonstrate how tea can help the body transition between warmer, colder, dryer, and wetter months.

10) Can I change the number of people after booking?

Yes. You can increase or decrease your party without telling us in advance, keeping in mind we can only accommodate up to 6 people.
