Chawan by Danny Kostyshin, fired in soda-fired kiln. Made in Vancouver, BC.

An unique, special chawan. Soda claybody. The outside is matte, textured orange shino glaze that feels slightly rugged in the hands. The inside is a clear glaze that is crackled and of pale icy blue color that creates a nice contrast with the outside.

It is a small to medium sized chawan that has a nice weight in the hands.
