Chawan No. 30

Chawan by Danny Kostyshin, fired in awood-fired kiln. Made in Vancouver, BC.

A sublime, beautiful chawan with many details and soothing tones. The outside has light grey colors. The inside is crackled light turquoise glaze, with mesmerizing ice blue translucent crackles on the bottom. This is from clear glaze that ran into the centre during the very hot firing.

It is a medium sized chawan that has a nice feel in the hands.
